Unforgettable is a reminders app for iPhone made by Mark Fensom. It collects no personal data.
Your reminders — their titles, times, categories and schedules — are saved in a database on your iPhone. Your settings, including any sound you import, are saved on the phone alongside them. Unforgettable has no accounts, no sign-in and no server of its own. Nothing is uploaded, backed up to a service of mine, or shared with anyone. Delete the app and all of it goes with it.
Reminders ring through AlarmKit, Apple's own alarm system, which runs on the device. Granting the alarm permission the first time you set a reminder gives Unforgettable no access to anything else on your phone.
If you set or check a reminder by speaking to Siri, Apple handles the speech and the request in the way it describes in its own privacy policy. Unforgettable receives only the finished result — a title, a time and a repeat — and writes it to the same database on your phone. I never see it.
A reminder given the medication category is stored exactly like any other reminder, on the device and nowhere else. Unforgettable does not diagnose, treat or manage any condition, and it makes no health claim about what you choose to put in it.
If you buy the paid unlock it goes through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles the payment; Unforgettable receives only a receipt that says the unlock is yours. Apple's own privacy policy applies to that transaction.
None. Unforgettable contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and makes no network requests apart from those Apple's StoreKit makes to complete a purchase.
Unforgettable is rated 4+ and, because it collects nothing, is suitable for children under 13.
